Explore what we can offer
We’re committed to providing individualized, holistic support in the areas of communication and literacy. Our ultimate goal is always to help a child express their thoughts, needs, and ideas more clearly, and to understand their people and their world more fully. Kids can expect a fun, engaging session to look forward to each week—parents can expect a listening ear and a professional who is invested in their child’s growth and fulfillment. We’d love to help you connect!
Speech
The path from babbling to soliloquies isn’t always a straight one—many children need some extra support to speak clearly and comfortably. Our bottom-line goal is that every child can say what they want to say clearly and confidently. We offer therapy based on professional training and over a decade of experience in the following areas:
Speech-sound errors (like a lisp)
Phonological disorders
Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Motor-based disorders
Fluency (stuttering)
Selective mutism
Language
Language skills encompass all of comprehension and expression. Better communication leads to less frustration, fewer meltdowns, and stronger connection with family and with peers. When children feel understood and understand those around them, they are able to move through life more easily and successfully. We have expertise in the following areas of language intervention:
Early communication in the first years of life
Understanding and telling stories (narrative language)
Using correct grammar and clear sentence structure
Gestalt Language Processing
Multi-modal communication, which can include speech, AAC, sign language, gestures, and more!
Neurodivergent-affirming support for kids with diagnoses including autism and ADHD
Social communication
Inferencing and other higher-order thinking skills
Literacy
Reading is often the first thing that a child experiences and thinks, “This is HARD!” This can lead to low self-esteem and negative feelings about school from the very beginning. Let us help! Literacy is our specialty, and we love helping kids find success and confidence in reading and writing, even if it doesn’t come “naturally” to them. We welcome the kids that feel lost, alone, and misunderstood. From learning letters and sounds to writing essays, we can help!

Dysgraphia
