The path from babbling to soliloquies isn’t always a straight one—many children need some extra support to speak clearly and comfortably. Our bottom-line goal is that every child can say what they want to say clearly and confidently. Language

Language skills encompass all of comprehension and expression. Better communication leads to less frustration, fewer meltdowns, and stronger connection with family and with peers. When children feel understood and understand those around them, they are able to move through life more easily and successfully. We have expertise in the following areas of language intervention:

• Early communication in the first years of life

• Understanding and telling stories (narrative language)

• Using correct grammar and clear sentence structure

Reading is often the first thing that a child experiences and thinks, “This is HARD!” This can lead to low self-esteem and negative feelings about school from the very beginning. Let us help! Literacy is our specialty, and we love helping kids find success and confidence in reading and writing, even if it doesn’t come “naturally” to them.
