Word Nerds
Summer Workshop 2026
Building confident readers through play
Join us for a fun-filled, play-based group workshop where kids strengthen their foundational understanding of reading and spelling. Led by experts in the field who know that kids learn best when they are having fun!
Who knew building reading skills could be so FUN?!
This is our fourth summer leading Word Nerds—and every year, parents are blown away by their kids’ sudden interest in reading more at home, and kids are begging to come back the next summer.
This workshop is specifically designed for kids that need specialized, explicit instruction in the basics and complexities of reading and writing in English. The kids for whom school-based programs are not cutting it, and the ones who often start to lose confidence.
The group environment paired with expert support is a magical combination that allows kids to try hard things and find their success!
